Marketing departments are already calling sedans with less rear headroom as 4-door coupes, erroneously, anyway… I don't think we need to fuel that fire any more.

A sedan is a sedan.

Bring the RWD Falcon stateside on the S550 (or whatever the chassis name for the new Mustang is going to be), and give it it's own name. Ford Falcon works well. It also pays homage to the fact that the Mustang came from the Falcon's chassis 50 years ago, also.

I'm pretty sure we'll never see a 4-door mustang. But I could see FoMoCo releasing a RWD sedan at some point, especially now that Ford's killing everything from Australia.

If you really want a 4 door mustang you could always buy a Lincoln LS and do an engine swap, since I think that had a smaller V8 than the mustang.

Surprisingly, they actually did offer a manual from 2000 to 2002 (according to Wikipedia). But I imagine it'd be pretty hard to find one.

It's not totally fair, but I just really don't feel like the Mustang has to follow design language. It has always just looked like the Mustang. If any part of it looks like a Fusion it throws something off.

I know not everyone agrees with me, and I have kind of beaten this one to death, but it just bugs me. Why so much?...Don't really know.

I found at least 10 on Autotrader, but none on eBay. Most of them were V6s though.

They only offered the manual with the v6. The v8 could be had with auto or select shift. I tried the select shift and did not like it at all.
